Scotland has miles of dog friendly beaches. The nearest to Triskele Lodge is St Andrews East Sands and very close by is the dog friendly pub, The New Inn, 23 St Marys Street, St Andrews, KY16 8AZ. Tel: 01334 461 333 The pub allows dogs in the bar and there is also a large beer garden where dogs are welcome. Other dog friendly venues can be found on the Dugs Welcome app/website (membership required for full access).
There are also other dog friendly beaches, in particular, Roome Bay in the lovely coastal village of Crail and Billow Ness beach in the East Neuk fishing village of Anstruther, home of the famous Anstruther Fish Bar, a past winner of UK Fish and Chip shop of the year.
